Bures St. Mary Church of the early 16th Century

Bures St. Mary is a fine old riverside town, partly in Suffolk and partly in Essex. The River Stour is the border, and it flows not far from the western edge of the churchyard. Thomas French, Sr. was baptized 11 Oct 1584 at Bures St. Mary, Suffolk County.
